 Participants in the Model Envy Workshop on April 9th. I was invited to speak to aspiring models at the Model Envy Workshop by T&T Model and Talent Consulting on April 9th, in Bedford, Ohio. The super informative workshop was hosted by models turned coaches Ty Chenell and Tricia Drew and held in a dance studio. The ladies devoted two hours on how to break into the modeling industry with presentations on everything from personal development, makeup and wardrobe, photography and posing, runway tips and etc. There were runway challenges, great information on nutrition, networking and marketing from industry professionals including- makeup artist Chalana Seward, holistic coach Jonathan Bare, Courtney Nicole DuPerow, contestant from America's Next Top Model cycle 22, Gabriel Quinones of Gabriel's Photography and of course me- Lady Silk of the House of Fly by Lady Silk LLC. I presented a power point with tips on how models should style themselves for photo shoots, wardrobe essentials, inexpensive places to shop, tips on what to wear to a casting call, what they need for a runway show and tips on how to make it in the industry. I talked for about 25 minutes and then stayed to enjoy the rest of the workshop.
