​Stage Play + Fashion Show= Extravaganza!
I will have a scene in the  "Death, Jail or Change" Play and Fashion Extravaganza this Sunday, October 8th, 5pm at The Copper Stone Event Center in Brooklyn Heights, Ohio, and I am so excited about it! I was invited to do the show by Cleveland native Angela Lane who has always been creative, but never really knew her potential for play writing until she wrote, directed and produced last year's stage play and fashion show, "Death, Jail or Change".

"Everything just flowed," Lane says when it came to writing and sharing her story. The play derived from wanting to share her own personal domestic violence story after enduring four years of being in an abusive relationship. And with the inclusion of a fashion show in between the scenes, Lane knew she had something different and unique. "The fashion show music coincides with the play," she explains, noting that there is something to be received for both young and old audience members alike because every one knows someone who has experienced domestic violence or gone through it themselves.

When she is not writing plays, Lane goes to work, school, spends time with her kids and creates candy dolls and baskets for the holidays. She has plans to take "Death, Jail or Change" on the road in the near future and will be writing a short film and a book about her life soon.
