CLAIRE'S "Pops Up" in Toy's "R" Us Stores

It's official- Toys "R" Us, the biggest toy retail giant in the world is joining forces with Claire's, the wildly popular  jewelry and accessory specialty store for young women and girls.  The two are entering a strategic global partnership that will bring the uber-trendy accessories Claire's to Toys "R" Us customers in select stores around the world via in store shops.

 The concept has already been tested in Europe and apparently did very well because they want to open up Claire's brand shops inside of Toys "R" Us at over 100 locations around the world including the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Austria and Spain, and 10 locations will be open in the United States by the end of October.

Claire's is known for their super trendy and unique assortment of jewelry, hair accessories, handbags, jewelry holders and seasonal items, and Toys "R" Us has dominated the toy industry every since the late 40's when it was know as Children's Bargain Town. The US flagship stores opened last week in New York at the Toys "R" Us Times Square location and at the FAO Schwarz store (owned by Toys "R" Us) and will be the only two locations that feature ear piercing for right now.
