5 Trendy Summer Prints to Wear Right Now!

Spring and summer are the perfect time to experiment and update your style because you have more freedom right? The days are longer, there are tons of activities that you actually want to attend, and all the stores, boutiques and online shops are filled with enough bright, colorful and vibrant clothes to boost any mood. If you add in any of these five prints to your summer wardrobe, you are basically signing up for your own personal style party. Fashion blogger Thamarr G of Musings of a Curvy Lady helps me show you how it's done!

Garden Variety
I mean is it even summer without one floral print top or dress in your closet? I don't think so! And this is one of the easiest prints to try your hand at print mixing with. Florals and stripes look great together as does florals and polka dots...

Tropical Thunder
Ok so are you over the prissy, girlie floral look? Then try bold, in your face tropic prints in bright vivid colors or in one monotone shade, either way #issastatement.

Spotty Dotty
What's more pure than polka dots? More polka dots! Black and white dots are a classic, but go for a modern look in an unexpected color- red, yellow, green or blue...

Gingham Girl
Gingham is like the soft, sweet, country cousin to plaid's hard rock and roll style- less rugged and utilitarian but can be toughened up if the mood calls for it. If you find a gingham outfit that you love, wear it to brunch with a pair of espadrilles and order sweet iced tea to drink with your pinky up!

Fruit by the Foot
Cherries are the standard, but Beyonce helped put lemons on the map no matter what anybody says differently lol- so gone ahead and get you some! Cherries, lemons, watermelons, pineapples and other options all make for a stylish fruit salad...

So there you have it- a few of my favorite summer prints! I love floral, but I'm very picky about the colors in that print since I can't stomach too much pink. And I have a pair of green tropical print pants that make me do a happy twerk every time I put them on lol. Go shopping (online, in a store or in your closet) and see what you can put together. If you need help, I'm here for you!

There is no right or wrong way to wear prints, but a good rule of thumb is to not wear a print that overwhelms your frame. A petite fashionista may want to avoid wearing huge all over prints that swallow them whole, and plus size style stars may want to shy away from wearing smaller prints that get lost in our curves, creases and crevices lol. But honestly, you just have to try things on and see how they look on YOU!

That is right. Both spring and summer seasons are perfect to experiment when it comes to our fashion style. We can play with vibrant colors and be our own selves in front of our cameras wearing dresses that we want. On the other hand, I just want to commend you for being so confident in showing your dresses though your size isn't much ideal for the society we live in. Haters are going to hate, so we would rather continue on doing the things that we want!
